I'm a 7th grade English teacher in Hanover, MD. At an early age I discovered that reading is powerful magic. I am always spreading the word by talking about reading, encouraging others to read, and sharing what I am reading with everyone. In the classroom I aim to help every student discover if not a love then a like of reading. To reach a bigger audience I decided to found The House That Blume Built. My parents made me a reader, but it was my first encounter with a Judy Blume book that made me love it. Richard Peck had something to do with it too. I'm not just a reader - I also spend my time knitting, Netflixing, and denying the existence of digital photography by adding to my manual camera collection. I hope you'll join me.
